General Terms and Conditions
General information
The subject matter of these Standard Terms and Conditions is the participation in the 3rd International Face2Face Fundraising Congress (2027, Vienna – Austria). By completing the registration process via the ticket platform doo, you are making a binding offer to the organizers of the congress, the Fundraising Association Austria, to conclude a contract and thereby simultaneously accept the following General Terms and Conditions.
Dates and location of the Event
The 3rd International Face2face Fundraising Congress 2027 will commence on Monday 15th March until Wednesday 17th March 2027, as an In-Person event, at the Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen Vienna, Austria.
Registration
Registrations for this event are made via the ticket platform doo and are binding. After successful registration, you will receive an automatic confirmation by email via doo.
A binding contract is concluded upon completion of the registration process on doo and successful booking of a ticket.
Places are allocated in the order in which registrations are received. The number of participants is limited. Only participants who have registered via doo and completed the payment in full are entitled to attend the event.
Tickets or event services that are not used will be forfeited; there will be no refunds or credits from the Fundraising Association Austria.
Terms of payment
Payment of the participation fee is handled exclusively via the ticket platform doo, using the payment methods offered there. The participation fee is due immediately upon booking, unless otherwise stated on the platform.
If for any reason you are unable to make payment for your registration using one of the accepted card types, please contact us at f2f-congress@fundraising.at to arrange for payment by other means.
If payment is not completed, there is no entitlement to participate in the event. Payment on site at the congress is not possible.
The participation fee is a final price. Value added tax will not be charged.
An Early Bird discount is only valid if registration and payment are completed within the stated deadline via doo. If payment is not completed in time, the Early Bird discount expires automatically.
The Fundraising Association Austria reserves the right to charge the non-discounted rate if we discover it has been purchased outside of requirements.
The participation fee includes attendance at the event as well all materials required for the event. There are no additional mandatory costs for participation. Any food and drink provided as part of the event (daily lunches, coffee breaks, conference beverages and one dinner) are included in the participation fee. Other costs, such as additional food and drinks, parking, travel, and accommodation, must be borne by the participants themselves and are not included in the participation fee.
Cancellation of registration, withdrawal modalities
Cancellation of the registration must be submitted in writing to f2f-congress@fundraising.at by 14th January 2027. In case of withdrawal, the costs incurred, or the possibility of a refund of the participation fee, depend on the receipt date of the withdrawal notice.
In the event of withdrawal, the following costs are payable immediately:
- Withdrawal up to 6 months before the congress: a one-off processing fee of 15%.
- Cancellation up to 3 months before the congress: 50 % of the total participation fees.
- In case of withdrawal within 3 months of the congress date, in case of non-appearance or in case of force majeure, the total participation fee has to be paid.
The transfer of the registrations and tickets to a different participant name as stated in the booking, will be gladly accommodated prior to the event by submitting a written request to f2f-congress@fundraising.at by 10 March 2027.
Execution of events, cancellation
The Fundraising Association Austria reserves the right to cancel the event at any time if necessary. In this case, the participants will receive a refund of their participation fees if they have already paid. Except for the refund, there is no claim to a replacement service or date. Any expenses incurred in connection with the cancellation, as well as any expenses incurred by the participant(s) and rendered superfluous by the cancellation, will not be refunded.
Correction
The Fundraising Association Austria points out that the content and course of the event and the speakers can be changed at short notice, if necessary, provided the overall character of the event is maintained. This does not entitle the participant to withdraw from the contract. A claim for damages is excluded.
Photography and filming
You maybe be photographed or filmed at the event and your image may be used in brochures, emails, press features, social media, videos and on the F2F Congress website. Should you not wish to have your image used, please contact us at f2f-congress@fundraising.at.
Visas
It is the participants own responsibility to apply for and secure a visa for entry into Austria. The Fundraising Association Austria is happy to assist you with your application, however, all requests for assistance must be made at least 10 weeks prior to the event (4 January 2027).
Data Protection
You will receive communications which are relevant to your registration. We will also keep you updated on the latest news, events and offers from the Fundraising Association Austria. There will be an option for you to unsubscribe from any communications that you receive from us, at any time.
Applicable Law and attribution of jurisdiction
The substantive law of the Federal Republic of Austria shall apply. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from participation in the event is Vienna.
Should one or more provisions of this contract be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid one that comes closest to the original economic purpose.
